Further to the Lee Ah Mooi Christmas Goodie-Bag Distribution, I was looking for a vendor in China to reduce the budget for the portable radios. Unfortunately the delivered product was not satisfactory resulted in me going to China to process the refund.
Captain David Lye and Captain Anthony Mak came to know about this, volunteered to gather his A330 Command course mates to support this initiative. Colleagues from the 1st and 2nd A330 Command Courses generously shared the costs of the Toshiba radios and the earphones. They are:
1) Simon Tan
2) Simon Tay
3) Goh Boon Pin
4) Anthony Mak
5) Graham De Souza
6) Jonathan Wee Seow Peng
7) Rodney Neo
8) Sung Chin Fuh
9) David Lye
Money aside, to find enough stock during the Chinese New Year period was not easy, let alone to fit into our busy flying schedule during this festive season. At last, we managed to get enough pieces on the 15th day of Chinese New Year (元宵節), thanks to Captain David Lye who went around gathering the pieces.
Most of the donors were flying. As soon as the Exco finished our Union-Management Meeting, we divided ourselves into 2 groups, one group to continue with the CA negotiation, the other group rushed down to share a happy moment with the residents.
We are preparing for Hari Raya event, colleagues who are interested to join us, please message me.

Once again, big thanks to everyone who participated in this meaningful event.
